I'm not sure why people are getting upset at a tiny little banner ad. We now have an app that is built for the newer iPhones and has been overhauled to make a cleaner experience. I paid the couple dollars to get the ad removed and to support the developer. The developer has spent countless hours over the years working on this, for nothing at all. After all of these years of not asking anything, and still not, but putting a little banner ad in the app to help support his efforts, is completely reasonable and I'm glad he did it.
