It is deeply concerning to see the historically and internationally recognized name “Persian Gulf” replaced with “Arabian Gulf.” The name Persian Gulf has been used for over 2,500 years in historical, geographical, and legal contexts, and is recognized by the United Nations and international organizations as the correct term. Changing this name not only disregards well-documented history but also contributes to unnecessary political tension. I strongly urge Google to uphold factual accuracy and respect internationally recognized naming conventions by restoring the correct name: Persian Gulf.
