...but basing the playability on in-app purchases is getting old. This is another in a long line of "free" apps with limited playability without spending, potentially, lots of money. This is a good implementation of the tower defense game type and, if you are wiling to play the free levels over and over again to earn "gems", you can continue to play for free. I'm not far enough along to be able to tell if the difficulty level rises with the amount spent, like so many other in-app purchase based games do, but time will tell.
