Great spinoff
Enjoyable and immersive spinoff mobile LN game that is essentially a prequel, with a somewhat lighter tone (as the Hobbit is to the LOTR books). Outstanding art, great sound design and music, puzzles are lightly challenging, achievements are really fun to track down. I prefer more explore-and-solve puzzles and few (or no) boss fights, so the balance in this game really works for me. I loved the storyline of learning about the trolls. The only problem is that it’s quite short. And be sure to watch through the end of the credits to be caught up on the lore revealed in this game.

Blast from the past
Had a ball playing this again. My mom introduced me to it when it came out, and I never forgot how intriguing and clever it was. I was thrilled to find it here available for the iPad. The touch controls are finicky sometimes, leading to some confusion, so I’d say it’s like a 4.5/5 just because of that. But the hint system is good and the story and puzzles hold up. Thanks for making an iPad version after all these years!

Charming, smart, with beautiful art
I found this game after playing Creaks, which I absolutely loved. This one is just as delightful, with another beautiful, immersive, hand-drawn world. The puzzles and characters and gentle gameplay are top notch, but it is the gorgeous illustrations that hooked me. Just like stepping in to a favorite picture book. I wish there were more games like this—straightforward, challenging, gentle, cute, with surprises and fun games-within-the-game. Every side character has enough personality that they could have their own spin off game (would love one with the hero and his little kid). Well done to t

Outstanding game
I didn’t think this could live up to Limbo, but it far exceeded my expectations. Beautiful, challenging, atmospheric, full of dread and wonder. Truly bizarre experience but worth every moment. Inside is similar to Limbo, and that game does prepare you for this one, but it is also a completely different experience with no repetition of puzzles. The storytelling is superb, and the artwork, game mechanics, characterizations, and music and sound work are top notch. Normally horror is not my thing, and I don’t find even cartoon suffering funny, but this game’s hero comes across as compassionate a

Fun, full of variety, great settings
I was reluctant to get this one because I’d heard so much hype for the first one and ended up finding much of it tedious, with repetitious puzzles and too much trial-and-error. But gave this one a go and, wow, the sequel is a big upgrade! Really fun to play, with decently challenging and fair puzzles, and a lot of beautiful settings and objects. The puzzles are satisfying to solve, and the sounds design is excellent. Kudos to the developers for not resting on their laurels from the first one. Looking forward to part 3!

Great for getting a sweat worked up daily in a fun way
I had very low expectations for this app. Most fitness app I’ve looked in to are too in-your-face and aimed at people who want to get buff or whatever. I just wanted something with a more relaxed feel, toned down decor, and fun routines that got me in shape. I have been loving this app for that purpose. I’m really impressed with the instructors, and I especially love their diversity in gender, age, body type, etc. One is even currently pregnant, and it’s great to see how she works the modified routines. That, the fact that they use some sign language, and the way one instructor is usually de

Excellent Game, Logical and Challenging and Atmospheric
Great story, every Chapter is better than the last, looks awesome, music and sound on point. I loved being able to go at my own pace. Dialogue is nice at letting you know your character’s personality and making sure you don’t fruitlessly click away at things. Hint system is great by being actual hints instead of just giving you the answer straight out. The puzzles are fun and have enough variety to keep it interesting. I really enjoyed this game. *Spoiler* My only feedback would be to recall the women who were working at the cursed site, because I think all of the artifact figures we saw, e

Lots of Potential But Boring and Frustrating
I finished the Room series and absolutely loved it, so I bought this game since it seemed like the next best thing. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and care went into it, and the artwork is gorgeous. But the puzzles are boring, repetitive, unintuitive, and/or tedious, and the intricate devices are all so similar that it doesn’t really matter what task you’re on or what room you’re in, they’re all just castle models or gears or tubes of liquid or more gears. The controls and camera angels are often jerky or wonky (at least on an iPad), the lens often glitched, and the hints are very slow a
