Great app, great content, great layout, but…. Still no dark mode. That’s especially surprising given that the New York Times brand is practically black and white. Creating a dark variation should be the easiest design adjustment since the inception of dark mode. And it’s really striking. Reading in a dark environment is really uncomfortable without this crucial feature.
