I am pretty sure this app is waiting for me to raise my thumb to the top of my screen to send a notification so it gets clicked. I don't know how, but it happens WAY too often to just be a coincidence. When I get the notification that someone started streaming conveniently sent at the exact moment i am moving my thumb to the top of my screen - the streamer has usually been streaming for a while, so they didn't even just start. Nah im done, it's actually making me feel insane. I use twitch every day and I am done with its app.
