The last version seems to have some battery drain issue - even when I'm not actively navigating, I'll occasionally experience the phone getting warm and the battery discharging unusually quickly. When I look at the battery stats, it'll show Google Maps as responsible for 80-90% of the battery usage in the last hour. I need to force quit (swipe up) the app to get things back to normal. This is on iPhone 15 pro with background refresh enabled.
