I have used Ultimate Guitar since the early 2010’s when I was teaching myself guitar. It had all of the basic features I needed. I have been a member for the last 8 years, until recently when my grandfathered-in rate of $25 was discontinued. I have been increasingly disappointed by Ultimate Guitar’s reliance on forcing new features on users. For example, often when a new feature is released I am required to go through a set up screen for that feature when I open the app and I cannot exit until I’ve answered introductory questions that will help the app help me use the feature.
