I enjoy learning languages and have learned six so far, so I know a thing or two about the subject. It is quite easy to start learning a language as an absolute beginner, since many apps are adequate for the purpose. But once you reach intermediate level and beyond, learning becomes more difficult. I have found that watching movies and listening to audiobooks is especially helpful. I myself prefer audiobooks as I can listen to them while driving to work. My initial reaction was very favourable. I guess they really put a lot of effort into making a good first impression. But after a couple of months it really went downhill. The lessons became repetitive and boring with no progress. Then, suddenly, it jumped to object pronouns, a subject that is extremely difficult for an English speaker to grasp. This shouldn’t be taught to beginners, but rather to very advanced students. I couldn’t even begin to try to wrap my head around it. There should be a gradual, logical progression from basic to intermediate to advanced and this course doesn’t have it.
