I have used this app for years. It was a pretty good app. I liked that it gave me such precise feedback and allowed me fine-tune so effectively. I put up with an ad, it let me use its basic features for free, it was a good symbiotic relationship. If they’d offered it as-free for a few bucks, I’d have gladly paid it. If they’d updated it in a way that extorted a few bucks from me, I’d have grumpily paid it and continued to enjoy using the app. Instead, they issue an innocuous “update” that completely locks it away unless you sign up for an $8/wk subscription?
