This app and the Trane Link thermostat leave a lot to be desired. They are both missing functionality that apps/thermostats like Nest and Eco Bee have had for a decade. 1. No support for Matter or Apple Home Kit 2. No ability to gradually ramp up temperature to scheduled set points. 3. Kludges for things like detecting whether a home is occupied. 4. Incomplete log data. The controller, app, and thermostat know when the relay is closed for accessories like a humidifier, but this data is not logged in the event data on the Trane Home website. 5.
