As of this year (2025), I think it's pretty safe to say the app has achieved the status of being too dysfunctional to count as a real dating app anymore. It has joined the graveyard with fellow apps that constantly ask you to pay for something that seems pretty broken. In fact, most recently, it deleted conversations I was in where both parties were excited. Which is literally destroying the beginning of a relationship. Why even have a dating app if it actually ghosts FOR you? It's like an anti-dating app, especially if you live in a small town where someone thinking they got ghosted does matt

I used clue for 6ish months, five years ago, then kinda forgot about it for whatever reason. Then recently, I had to go off a recent bout of birth control pills, because they were giving me multiple irregular periods/month. I had no idea by this point when my real period was supposed to happen; it had been distorted over three years. I was afraid of getting preg. I reinstalled Clue, it told me the prediction for when my period would start based off of patterns from years ago. My period started on the EXACT day it predicted?!!?! Soo that is great. First off: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the desktop app. This review is about the mobile app, which is essentially useless because of how bad the syncing is. I took this down to a 2 star because this problem has persisted ever since I first got the app almost a year and a half ago. Like, it’s actually dangerous to use the mobile app because it’s likely you will corrupt your organizing structure or files on yr desktop if you’re not super duper careful. Even if you are super careful (closing desktop app every time you possibly can), seems unpredictable. Other than that the app & design is superb! Someti
