Photomator is a ‘Top of the Class’ app for basic edits. Its Denoise is excellent as is its interface. Being able to easily switch between ‘Photos’ and ‘Files’ on iPad is wonderful. However, compared to Lightroom, it is missing three key editing options (amongst other features): (1) There is no slider for “Whites”, which are different from “Highlights” and “Brightness”; (2) There is no “Auto Black Point” nor “Auto White Point”. I’m new to writing fiction, having spent the last 25 years writing reports and magazine articles. I’m also not deep into Scrivener yet. I like organizing projects in the binder and chapters in the projects. I also like the tool bar above keyboard of the iOS iPad version and how I can customize it. However, I find selecting text in the iOS version to be horrible. It is imprecise and very jumpy. Scrivener says they use the iOS algorithms for text selection, but I don’t have the problems selecting text in other iOS apps that I do in Scrivener, otherwise I’d give it an unqualified Excellent

It took me a few minutes to orient myself to the new version, but now that I'm "there" I like it even more! It seems like it has better use of limited screen real estate. It also seems to take fewer clicks to do what I want with new version - great!
