Photoshop for iPad has continued to be degraded and have functionality reduced. I have had a subscription to the full desktop application for years. It includes the app for iPad. Theoretically, that is a good thing. I should not have to lug my oversized laptop to meet with clients. I should be able to do basics in the iPad version. Something as simple as opening a pdf file that was created in Photoshop desktop is not possible.
