Got one of the wall plugs which was bundled with the purchase of an Echo Spot. Set up took a few minutes, after I found the correct KASA App....the one with the blue&white arrow pointing up. You also have to be sure to set it up on your 2.4G network, NOT the 5G if you have it. Once set up, it works flawlessly, the verbal command of “lights on/off “ works with all 3 of my different echo devices ( an original large Echo, the Dot and the Spot). I can exit the living room with lights on then once in bed command lights out. No more bumping into furniture trying to find my way to the bathroom or bed
