Profiting Off Customer Inconvenience
I’ve had two bad experiences in a row with the Careem app, and it feels like the system is designed to profit from customer inconvenience rather than fix problems.
Two days ago, during a busy period, the Careem driver refused to pick up my order, yet I was still charged 2.5 JDs. What makes this worse is that this fee used to be 1.5 JDs, so the increase feels unjustified—especially when the issue was not my fault.
