The 2.0 upgrade was horrible. EA shifted away from service buildings such as fire, health, and police stations covering a set range of space to only covering a set number of homes. This means that you have to spend a significant amount of money just to upgrade the service buildings to cover the number of homes in whatever area the services are placed. Additionally, EA stated that this upgrade would reduce the amount of services needed including water, electricity, etc. The reality is that they lied since I still need the same amount of services to maintain the amount of homes I have.
