If you imagine, for a moment, what a future digital German government service utopia could look like, there’s a very good chance you’d be imagining, what using TaxFix feels like in 2022. As a recent Scandinavian immigrant to Germany, that’s at least how it felt to me. If you want the full-serviced option of having TaxFix actually submit your paperwork it’s a flat €40 fee, and considering my experience dealing w this on my own, it honestly feels like a zero too little.
