Tonight Find My failed me twice. Once was to notify me when a friend arrived at an airport. No notification, but I got a text from her after she was in the terminal. The other was when I misplaced my keys in the car. Although Find My played a sound on the AirTag when it was in the car, when I opened the door and tried to locate the keys Find My told me it could not connect to the AirTag, although it was literally 30 inches away. Find My is cute, but don’t rely on it for anything important.

Once my favorite network utility, UI seems a bit dated, a bit cumbersome, and out of step with the rest of iOS. Custom icons aren’t retained; lost each time I scan a network (-1 star). The in-app Review editor doesn’t show text of the review, while writing this review from App Store works as expected.
