This is definitely a cat-and-mouse type solution, so it’s reasonable for function drift to occur, but if it stays broken for a few months it is hard to recommend purchase at that time. Bump from 2 to 4 stars, it’d be 5 if update cycles were more frequent and fixes were listed.
