Memrise was my favorite language learning app before this big overhaul of their learning system. I just hate it now. First of all, I despise the fact that it is now just another greedy app trying to profit off of AI. AI does NOT belong in a language LEARNING app, we are already seeing its negative effects in other apps like Duolingo where users are reporting translation errors! As someone training to be a translator, I value technology where it belongs. But a program that essentially swallows texts and then simply spits them back out rearranged is NOT conducive to teaching people languages cor
