I do a lot of work in remote areas and this app has changed my life. I used to use standalone handheld GPS units in the field. This app is a better GPS than any of those that I've tried. I can identify sample sites in Google Earth, import them seamlessly, and then find them on foot or by motor vehicle. When in the field I can manage my location records in individual datasets. The Google Satellite and Terrain backgrounds make it that much more versatile for navigation. Overall an excellent app. Now if Apple would just improve the phone's battery life...
