I am surprised at the percentage of 5-star ratings for this app which I find substandard especially given that the service is owned by Google. It is indeed cluttered and has an unnecessarily steep learning curve, but let’s be a little specific too. Among its (numerous) problems, if one searches for and saves a group of videos already packaged as a playlist — course lectures, say — it will appear as a playlist in your collection but not on the list of playlists accessed from the menu by which a new but related video could be added to it.
