Google updated this app from a very useful and user friendly app with lots of great features to a cumbersome, useless app with many features missing or very difficult to use. You can no longer create a new food, you can only log foods previously logged on the old app or new ones that have a bar code (fresh fruit and veg, butchers meat, bakers etc foods do not have barcodes. You cannot log a meal with several different foods- bolognaise for example- it all has to be done as an individual ingredient.
