I thought I would try the Down App. It looked simple enough, but I soon found it was not. Unlike traditional dating apps, there is no Like swipe left, etc. instead swiping up you are interested in Date, swipe down and you are “Down” for causal. Swiping left is skipping to next profile. So I did and I got 3 days. But I soon learned I had to pay to use Flirts, which is what you use to send simple messages.
