I’ve had my fill of tech companies trying to push AI into every single facet of life, but at least for language I expected, oh I don’t know, A LARGE LANGUAGE MODEL would be able to help facilitate my French learning. I can’t believe I paid so much money for a year’s subscription just to experience such mediocre lessons and conversational ability. AI’s nowhere near good enough to be your language teacher. Pay a real human being to tutor instead.
