I have been able to use Venmo with no hiccups for a while. Recently they have changed things and truthfully they can’t even explain it. It started with holding crypto sales randomly after not having the issue before. They hold it for 5 days, and tell you for security reasons. That’s the only explanation ever given. Now I can’t even transfer the crypto in the account as it gives an error saying they can’t transfer it just yet. Pretty vague I know.
