Cool app! It lets you import your music from other apps so no need to start from scratch. I love the song catcher feature, especially because you can just sing or hum a song and it will catch it! I also love the layout (even the purple heart logo is so upbeat)and how the app organizes your playlists alphabetically.

The app has a great variety of books and syncs across devices BUT beware, there’s a limit to how many books you can read. And let me tell you that limit is around two-three books. Instead of clearly stating so, the publisher of the app lets you discover it for yourself as a nice little surprise. The worst thing — when every single title on my list appeared as “available again on September 9” I checked out the “learn more” link and still they wouldn’t say it’s because of the monthly limit but some excuses about overall availability etc. Needless to say, that was the magic date my subscription w

I have tried several apps for language learning and I have found them all to be a joke. You can’t learn a language with flash cards! Babbel has a very organized and extensive library of content and along with extra practice on your own, I believe it can help you reach a decent level and speak with confidence. What they haven’t cracked yet is how to motivate you to come back every day but that’s always a downside with online and self-directed learning.

Amazing app but the customer service is poor. During COVID, at least, I had tried to contact them but the chat kept shutting off because I was “inactive.”
