When I realized that I couldn’t find items in my stash quickly ( or, sometimes, at all!) I knew that the time had come to formally inventory my collection. After a bit of research, I found this app. It is brilliant. After an investment of time to enter each skein/ball, I had a complete, searchable record! It has already proven its worth. I was on the verge of purchasing a lovely skein of hand dyed yarn when I remembered my vow to use Yarn Buddy to avoid my usual goof of buying essentially the same yarn multiple times. I checked my inventory and, lo and behold, I did have a skein of very simila
