I don’t know what the impetus was behind this terrible redesign of the previously perfectly adequate 9News app, but I’m deleting this version from my phone entirely. No rhyme or reason as to which stories load where, many duplicates, no dates in the previews to let me know if a story is new or two months old (and why is that “above the fold” anyway???). Push notifications frequently lead to…the main page. But hey, at least you can search for— whoops, no. No search function! Most stories are now video format.
