Incredibly bad
I mean… it's really incredible. How can a huge corporation make an app like this? Mandatory sign-in and password changes, super slow, wants to track all your data, can't find the washing machine, etc. The list goes on. Our LG is wasting 9Wh constantly, so we bought a smart plug to turn it off automatically (pays for itself in some months). Their smart devices are fine, but the app is a nightmare. Dumb devices, please!

Paid but with ads and trackers
This really is predatorial capitalism. You pay for a game but it still sends your data to 130+ advertising partners.

Great but expensive
I’ve clocked in more than 1100 fasts on Zero, so it’s clearly been with me for a while. The app has very slowly improved in the sense that any noticeable bugs are gone. It’s changed a bit in other aspects, but TBH not in any way I care for. Too much content for its own sake… I wanted a reliable fast tracker that kept track of my history. And all that came with a price tag of nearly 80€/year,

I’ve also found some other US services that have historically be shown to disregard user privacy. For some reason, there’s an anonymization of support data, instead of a deletion. They write a lot about privacy and trust, but “we don’t sell your data” obfuscates the fact that it will be shared for research purposes. Which would be okay, if we hadn’t seen plenty of examples of de-anonymization recently. Basically, if your

Data hungry. Search for a bit and you’ll find the many reports of this app abusing your trust. Yikes!

Data firehose
Good enough app, but the list of third-party vendors is utter nonsense. Do you need to share/remarket/broker data with hundreds of third-parties, when the app itself has a premium mode? As it is, why pay, if they’re going to double dip…
