Once a true pioneer and ahead of the curve, but not anymore. The App is now plagued by numerous bugs and suffers from extremely poor customer service. Communication seems to be exclusively in French, which is discriminating for non-French speakers. Given its high cost and declining quality, it’s simply not worth it. 🔺 FAST? On the contrary! Example: iMac with a wired connection. Standard download speed is around 931 Mbps (upload 37 Mbps). With “Nord-VPN” (paid model), download speed drops to just 166 Mbps (upload: 36 Mbps). Conclusion: Using “Nord-VPN” results in a dramatic reduction in download speeds. 🔻Furthermore, the App regularly blocks the WiFi- network connection when VPN mode is switched on. F.e. as a result it interferes with the operation of Blink-cams ! (updated 19/05/2025)

It doesn’t perform well at all in comparison with the competition. It appears rather limited in it’s resources. For example various modules (“AI-Art) do not work or poorly! In addition it’s significantly slower analysing and translating text in comparison with the f.o.c. app’s! In short not (yet) worth the money. For sure I am not going to renew my annual subscription. ... is missing still some major features the competition (Signal, WhatsApp..)already have for some time.🔺 Like automatically deleting particular messages to specific people. (After say 1 week, day, hour etc.)🔺 Also, synchronising with other devices for instance iPad, MacBook is a cumbersome procedure. The app does not work on iPad-pro. Showing the wrong format and distorted input screens. Amazing that KLM does not get this right.

Unstable. Loses regularly its barrings. ETA sharing does not work most of the time. Frequently WAZE let you make unnecessary "D-tours".

As such a great concept be it excessively expensive. BE AWARE by giving permission and access to all your keyboard typing, it’s potentially a HUGE security infringement ‼️

Used the App within Europe for considerable time and was far from satisfied. Especially the map accuracy was often suboptimal. HOWEVER, downloading the South Africa map and using it to navigate to some very remote places offered a great surprise and experience. The App navigated very precise and reliable👍🏻. Please achieve the same within Europe, please!

Shockingly expense! Demanding a one time € 75,00‼️ (or annually € 36,00) for features which as such are cool but which one get elsewhere for free or at a nominal fee! ”Tons of free tools”?! A blatant exaggeration at best or just straightforward baloney! The so called “free download” is riddled with hindering and irritating ad’s etc. CONCLUSION: money trap - leave it alone and safe your money for a fair deal and for an as good App elsewhere ‼️(13/04/2019)

The App does what it promises. It’s stabil and user-friendly. Incredible but true, a reputed company like PayPal seems to be incapable to offer a iPad-version. Poor show and a great pity.

Continues to give error alerts and is unable to establish locations by both WiFi and 4G despite all settings to be in order!?

Nice and interesting App. Like it a lot. BUT be careful before to enlist onto one of their e-mail tracking alerts or newsletters; they pester and bombard you with an almost constant flow of alerts, mails etc. Getting out of their "claws" proves so far impossible ‼️

Since you find it apparently not necessary to let us know this upfront, I do it for you: ⛔️App frozen after tapping "Use" on iOS 7; After tapping on the "Use" button, the Genius Scan might be frozen and an activity indicator spinning forever. 📵We are waiting for Apple to publish our update, Genius Scan 3.6.1, which will fix this issue. Great skin, very good navigation and excellent features. A must have! Recommended 👌!!! HOWEVER... their database is cleary inferior to Shazam. Fewer results and hits and not alwsys up-to date❗

Worth every penny! It's just great and a fabulous source of knowledge! Works splendid and delivers what it promised! 👍😍
