My verdict is that while it’s a good port of a board game the AI make the play sessions frustrating beyond belief. The design biases everything against the player when npcs are involved. While theoretically it’s possible to win, it takes so much energy and so many losses that it’s hollow by the time you might win, with the game going out of its way to ensure you don’t win. Dice rolls consistently bias against you in multiple situations and favor the AI, with countless rounds granting exactly the resources the AI needs to progress while you are left high and dry regularly.
