Circles looked like a promising Personal CRM app. Apparently it doesn't exist any longer, but has been replaced by a new app called Nouri. (When you download and open Circles, you get a message to this effect.) This is supposed to somehow make Circles better. So I went to the Nouri site to check it out. The landing page is unappealing - plenty of exclamation marks to evoke false excitement and an overall unattractive UX. Nouri is apparently focused on events, rather than a Personal CRM. The two apps don't seem related in purpose very much at all. Disappointing. Pass.

I'm a big believer in BK and The Work, but the app is unfortunately disappointing. A screen that freezes repeatedly, plus the inability to see the some entries as they are typed (keyboard blocks the field) are issues that basic usability testing could catch. Not being able to save work (but email it instead) is less of an issue, but still not optimal. BK makes so much of her excellent work available at no charge, so I can in no way begrudge the small amount spent on the app, but due to the usability issues I feel more like I've made a donation, rather than purchased an app.
