I love The NYT -but- this highly praised app has lots of faults! First, I am a subscriber and I constantly get commercials that promote subscribing to nyt! Before any story I listen to or during breaks in longer pieces. It can’t be that hard for programmers to put a rule in that omits these annoying ads from going to people already subscribed! Also, as soon as I finish listening to anything on the app it automatically starts playing the “listen” section. It’s not a ‘smart’ app, it just plays whatever in that section and there’s no way to opt out of a particular story or choose what type of
