Just use Uber I pre-booked a taxi pickup to the train station 24+ hours in advance. When I was going to bed approximately 9 hours before pickup the app confirmed a driver had reserved our pickup. Woke up in the morning and the driver cancelled 10 minutes before. Found a new driver who was “3 minutes away” for about 5 minutes, then drove the other way (maybe hoping to get the cancel fee?). Couldn’t find another taxi to accept our request, ended up ordering an uber which was about twice as expensive but booked instantly, was responsive, and very kind. We missed our train because of the trouble.
