I booked and fully prepaid a hotel through Agoda well in advance. The reservation remained active and confirmed in the app right up until the day of arrival. When I showed up at the hotel during peak New Year season in Vietnam, I was told my reservation had been cancelled several days earlier. No notification. No warning. Nothing in the app indicated any issue. The hotel redirected me to Agoda. Reaching customer support was extremely difficult due to overloaded lines.
