I’ve been legally blind all my life (blue cone achromatopsia) and the last few years I’ve had fairly large progressive vision loss. Thankfully I’ve had this app all those years on iPad and iPhone and it helps significantly. The filters let me change things so that I can see many things I’d miss. The negative reviews don’t seem to understand what the picture function is for - it’s so that you zoom into the picture even further. I use a fancy AAC app (Compass by Dynavox) but sometimes I'm to overwhelmed to find what I want to say. I love these because even on my worst times it's a little easier to communicate. Even if all I want to do is say I'm in pain, and the doctors ask me of that a lot.
