I’ve been a user and spreader of the gospel-Snapseed since before Google acquired it in 2012… so, at least 14 years? With zero hyperbole: This latest update rendered it totally broken for raw format. There is something very wrong with with the way files are loading: unusably high contrast & wild saturation. No ammount of slider tweaking (from what claims to be as-shot) gets a usable result that doesn’t look like an homage to lofi Andy Warhol. My raw files are from an iPhone 17 Pro.

I’ve given the new makeover (for the Apple TV app) a few months to see if updates would make it not-terrible. It’s really not gotten any better from the glitchy, frustratingly organized, inconsistently up-to-date piece of beta software that rolled out in November I think. On good days, the Nightly News is available at like 7:30 PM Eastern time. Sometimes it will let you play the whole episode, and sometimes you have to scroll to the bottom and watch one segment at a time. Sometimes it’s not available until 9:30 PM, or 10:30 PM. This game is great if you like physics challenges. I stumbled onto this app the day it was released. A few hours later, I'm pretty sure I was one of the first people to 100% the whole game. It's quite addictive: challenging, yet not so hard the player gives up. I do wish there was a "free play" mode. I'm looking forward to updates and more titles from this developer.
