My 4/21 flight to Amsterdam from Newark (UA #70) was frustrating and disappointing because the reading lamp did not work and could not be fixed during the flight, which effectively made reading impossible once the overhead cabin lights were turned off. Now, on my return flight tomorrow (UA #71) it turns out that I will be unable to sit next to my wife because there were only two free seats left in Premium Economy when I checked in for the flight - and they’ll be two rows apart!
