Was initially apprehensive, but really glad we chose Threema! This is the best messaging app I have used and on top of it has real security features. Well worth the one time cost. That small payment got rid of all kinds of spam, noise and unwanted connections on Telegram/Whatsapp. Very nice feature that it is not necessary to use your phone number or even an email in order to sign up. Very very happy with this app!
