Just take screenshots and translate those using chatgpt or your favorite service. Use the address of your hotel. You can also use suica to pay in shops / restaurants / food&beverages machines. Not every transport accepts suica though (in kanazawa some bus dont accept it) No problems in: Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka/Nara/Hiroshima/Miyajima(the ferrey).
