It’s not possible to turn off notifications from people in your network hiring so I had to turn off all notifications to not drown in spam.

I’ve used this app for years but since the combination of the language I’m learning and my native one is quite unusual I’m no longer able to find learning partners after the developer blocked the option to search for any native speakers, regardless of which language they are practicing. I could help others with English despite having another native language until this change was made. By principle I won’t pay for the premium service to get back a feature that was free for years.

Whenever I search for a title and choose to list all books the app fails to list any. There is also no way to filter for a particular language and browse though genres in that language if you don’t know exactly which title you want to read. This, along with no word translation support (beyond apples limited options) and very few foreign language titles makes scribd a very weak option for improving a foreign language through reading, it’s really disappointing to see yet another app developed thinking the entire world is American.

First time it stopped reacting to my drawing after 2 minutes. Second time it froze after 1. Not worth a third chance

Segments only occasionally recognized despite running same path each time. No view to see personal record progressions. Just doesn’t provide many useful, working functions

That shopping list isn’t sortable is a huge neglect that makes the app an aging each shopping trip. There are also way too few items visible on the screen at once, it should be possible to choose a compact view.

Removing swipe to see chat notes with two clicks is a silly regression. Albums don’t support videos. Can’t search stickers by keyword without activating it for everything you type. Generally unintuitive navigation.
