This app and alarm clock product, the Hatch Restore 2, just screams of bait and switch. After spending $200 on an alarm clock, thinking it’s one of the best out there with great features and simple two button operation (rise and rest), come to find out the alarm clock needs a WiFi internet connection to work and an app to download in order to program the clock. The app has several free sounds and light options, but that won’t stop Hatch from displaying all the wonderful other sounds and lights that are locked unless you sign up for a monthly fee.
