My iPhone 6S Plus was getting erratic distance and pace readings with multiple running apps. This isolated the problem to the iPhone’s GPS. Apple support had me reset the phone and reload firmware and iOS (from iTunes and a PC). That was painful, solved the problem. Great app if you suspect GPS problems.
