When purchasing my ticket, the website states that one checked baggage is included on my international flight. Also that if you have connections, as long as they are shorter than the longest leg of the flight, it is covered. I was forced to pay at check in. Very poor explanation at time of ticket purchase. I would have paid in advance, but was not available. The customer service rep at bag drop was rude and told me to put a claim with customer service once home. I believed that British airways was a reputable airline. I will be choosing a different airline in the future.
