Although the American App “crashes” less frequently than it did a year or 2 ago, Your competitors have some basic features in their Apps that American has not adopted. On United, it’s easy for me to add meals when in first class without leaving the app, and being sent to your website. Same goes for basic flight changes. It’s easier to find award flights on Delta.
