As an active duty, military member stationed long-term in a foreign country, Google Fi was recommended to me as the best long term overseas phone service plan. However that is not the case. They are incompetent and untrustworthy, way more hassle and stress than they are worth. I had to cancel my phone service plan with them because for months I could not get it to work at all and I would spend hours at a time with customer service people who would just redirect me and talk to me like I was stupid telling me that it was my fault it wasn’t working, when I would follow their trouble shooting tech
