I’ve owned two units of the U1000 dash cam, and overall the camera hardware itself has performed well — it reliably records video to the SD card without issue. However, after performing a firmware update, I ran into a significant problem: while the camera continues to record properly, the footage is no longer accessible through the mobile app. The only way I can review recordings now is by physically removing the SD card, which defeats a major convenience feature of a screenless dash cam.
