I’ve made dozens of bookings with Agoda and I’m a VIP Diamond member. Lately the app blasts “77% off” (and similar) banners, yet the so-called discounted price is often higher than booking the same room in a regular browser with no promo at all. Right now, it leaves a very unpleasant impression.

I can’t block a spammer who sends me messages and keeps offering me to play at a casino. WTF?!

Terrible app. Way too much spam and no way to filter it properly — I only want to receive messages from sellers I’ve actually bought from, not all this random junk. And then there are weird auto-subscriptions that start flooding you with messages. Sellers sometimes ask you to cancel the order because they don’t have the item — why is that my responsibility? Some items arrive in terrible quality, yet the reviews are suspiciously good. Clearly, sellers are gaming the system, and Lazada does nothing to enforce quality control. Tap something by accident and you get hit with a barrage of pop-ups

Sent a few messages with roaming and always were getting an error. It’s really annoying, cuz I even spent money for it. The worst experience.
